What inspired an adventurist spirit?
As a kid, my Dad always told me that “by reading, I could travel the world”. Inspired by the adventures in my books, in addition to having grown up with two adopted sisters from Colombia, parents who sponsored refugee families from war zones, and hosting 5 exchange students, I decided to go on my first international adventure at age 16 to Aachen, Germany for high school. After two years of high school there, I went across the border to the Netherlands to complete my undergraduate studies in International Business at Maastricht University, and later, a double masters degree in International Management with Erasmus University Rotterdam and CEMS.
